Tumblr reverted some of the asinine app decisions they made after a concerted feedback effort! So make sure to use this form! It’s what it’s for, but it’s not well advertised!

Look with all due respect, I abhor the new update but I’m not using tumblr without an adblocker or xkit or all the features I use desktop tumblr for.

This goes back to “why the hell wasn’t this just tested via Tumblr Labs”, because the whole situation is completely incomparable to “voting with your wallet” because I didn’t pay for jack shit, the update was shoved on some people.

So for the record @staff I fucking hate the new layout. It’s objectively more cramped, and looks even worse on wide-screen monitors. If y'all really are running some A/B testing, just know a lot of users are gonna be running browser extensions to override your formatting and force everything back to normal.

You’ve called tumblr - in your own posts - a place where users can tweak their own experience. If you wanted to test a new layout for popularity, why the hell is it not opt-in? I do not want the site looking how you want it to look.
